cannot share printer

I did follow the instructions of windows professional for networking, also I have a ethernet cable  to my basement computer, I share internet  dsl, but I cannot print in my upstairs printer,from the basement computer; it will cue but not print; any sugestions.

with other printer and another computer  it worked until I changed, I have a new dell computer and new printer, and no luck when I want to print with the basement computer; I use epson photo R220.(upstairs)
