ethernet driver not getting detected in device manager
My ethernet/LAN driver is not being shown in Network Adaptor list in device manager. due to which i am not able to use internet through LAN cable.
i have already downloaded marvell miniport driver from dell website drivers and download link but after installing the driver still the driver is not been shown and the problem still persist.
I am using Insipron 1545 with windows 7 ,64 bit OS, and i have tried everything but still not able to solve this problem.

Hi jai060,
Did you check out the Dell Networking and Wireless Support Center yet? It has a lot of good information and troubleshooting steps that may help you figure out what is causing your network problems.
Please check out that link and the various articles it provides, and let us know if any of it is helpful to you. If not, we'll see if we can find other info for you.

One way of getting around this is to buy a USB Ethernet port. Not ideal I know, but it can be a temporary fix.
