inspiron 1121 - AMD wireless driver not found
Hello,
I changed the OS of my new 1121 from ubuntu to windows by formatting.
Now I am unable to find the driver and unable to acctivate wireless.
The dell driver page shows most of the intel drivers though.
Also I tried installing "
DELL_WIRELESS-5620-EVDO-HSPA_A08_R257880.exe (28MB)" , but no success so far.
Appreciate your help in this regard.

Did you install the desktop/noteboo system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Hello Rick,
I am not able to find the system utility and neither see any system category. I started with Dell application "R267754.exe (3MB)" i.e. quickset32 installation and this also doesnot get installed saying "not supported system".
Could you direct me to specific link for the exact file download for my inspron 1121?

There is no notebook system utility for this model. All the chipset drivers need to be installed first, then follow the list. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

I found the solution and updating here for record.
The laptop infact too all 1120 model softwares (instead of 1121) and all installation went through fine.
Saw the 1120 tag somewhere in BIOS and hence experimented.
