inspiron 1420 with Wi-Fi Catcher band confirguration problems.

Gidday guys and girls.

I've got an inspiron 1420 which i've been running with vista basic for just over a year now.

After installing some updates and restarting my wifi has stopped working. The message "Your Wi-Fi catcher band configuration is not compatible with your WLAN card band configuration. Select Yes to automatically change your Wi-Fi cathcer band or No to keep your Current Band configuration" After trying both options numerous times I gave up on that prompt.

I've googled like mad and not yet found anything that helped. I can verify that there is know problem with the router as my brothers dell has no problems connecting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
