"windows 8" all downloads "file is corrupt or unreadable"

I recently installed Windows 8 on my dell xps 8500 - this was via the discount offer by dell when I bought it with windows 7.

At first I was able to download from the internet but now all I get is this message:

  "file is corrupt or unreadable"

Of course this is impossible on every download.

Anyone have any insight?

Hi TokamakFusion,

I’d advise that you use a different browser to download the Windows 8 installation file and check for issue resolution.

Also, before upgrading to Windows 8 please update to the latest BIOS for your system from the link below which has been specially designed for Windows 8 operating system.
