updated xp drivers for Conexant/GVC V90 Data/Fax Modem Model # F-1156IV/R9F
Im conected to at&T Worldnet and have been haveing verry low conection speeds and haveing a lot of trouble loging on. I called them and they told me I neaded updated drivers for my Modem. My modem is a Conexant/GVC V90 Data/Fax Modem Model # F-1156IV/R9F shiped with my dell when I ordered it. Where do I download the drivers?

GO to the download tab
choose communication drivers
your Oper. system
Dell model
this should bring up modems
choose your model
& download
instructions will be their
good luck

Thats the first place I looked then I checked the conexant web site but the only drivers I can find for my modem there are generic and they are the same driver I have now. Any other Ideas Im about to give up.

Have you tried calling Dell tech. support?
did you upgrade to XP or was it preinstalled with your system
when I phone them I use
800-624-9896 ext.- 66955

I need the same modem driver, but for windows 98. Are their any? Where can I get them?
