Hi auntie294ever,

Thanks for posting.

Here is some information you may find helpful: http://dell.to/2vpgs21

If you are still having difficulties, you can search here :  http://dell.to/2vplH1O and reinstall the drivers.  Here is more instruction:  http://dell.to/2uIYuFT

thanks for that. it is way over my head. great information though. a couple of questions would dell tell me to upadate a driver i already have installed? and the real problem started when I got a new wireless router my dell started acting funny. google chrome would work for an 1hr then hangup. so i switched to firefox it works much better but every so often it hangs up. i have done test speeds and that seems ok.  my dell every so often just disconnects from the wifi now. i have an older toshiba that i am using and it's not having any problems. Where would you suggest I look?

thanks for your time

Apologies that the information is confusing.  At this point I would suggest that you run a systems diagnostics by pressing F12 when the computer is first starting up, make a note of any errors, then call Dell Tech Support for further troubleshooting and diagnosis.  Thanks.
