wirless g usb network adapter
HI
I have recently bought the Belkin G Wirless USB Adapter to install on my laptop so I am able to connect to the router wirelessly. I have installed the CD ROM onto the desktop computer and have followed the steps correctly. I then plug my USB adapter when it tells me so into the USB port, it then comes up when a message saying
"Notebook Card is not found. Insert the Notebook Card to activate the driver. Click OK to continue."
I have try to find correct driver but still is not working:emotion-9:
I will be thank full for any help and advise.

What is the make and model of your desktop computer?
Did you recently reinstall the operating system?

yes that's right
system dosn't recognized USB and is keep asking about notebook card,
i got windows vista,
router is belkin g wireless-2.4ghz-802.11g, and belkin wireless g usb network adapter

Kasia,
Have had a few issues with the Belkin Security.
Did you try turning off the security or try using WEP Security?
Try channels 1, 6 0r 11
Placed to look to see if you old wireless adapter is connected. Connection is enabled

Kasia,
You Put the disk in the cd/dvd rom and installed the drivers first, correct?
Then you attached the usb adapter, when prompted, correct?
What do you see in the device manager?
What operating system is installed on the computer?
What type of wireless router are you using? What type of security? What channel?
