N2048 stack randomly fails to reply to SNMP requests (6.3.0.6)
Hello,
Today, we have observed that some Dell N2048 stacks (running 6.3.0.6) fail to respond to SNMP requests. I haven't checked the logs of all of them but one device at least had this kind of log entries I haven't seen before:

What does these entries mean? Could these be linked to the failing SNMP queries or are they completely unrelated? The logs don't contain anything else relaiting either SNMP or resource starvation if I was able to understand the entries correctly.

Hi Daniel,
The requests are mainly snmpwalks along interfaces tree. The system recovers itself. It may of course be that the problem lies at the other end but the monitoring system polls other devices as well and they don't show up as failing. Also, the problem surfaces now and then. Now, it has been active like a week and previously it was sometime in the spring. I'm from university and the autumn semester for the freshmen began this week as well. Could be unrelated but there is increase in network traffic.
The stack ports report no errors. Unfortunately, I don't remember how long the cables are.
Somewhat unrelated: Is there a way to configure the switches so that the SNMP reply packets would not exceed 1500 bytes? If I use snmpbulkwalk I don't get any replies back due to MTU limitations in our current monitoring environment.
And regarding the software upgrade: we shall try it. Thanks for the info.

I found an option in Outlook that says "Add properties to document to enable reply with changes".
