Dell Laptop registration

Hi tried contacting Dell with regard my laptop, as I think there is something wrong with the screen and which I registered when I purchased it from PC world last year and all I get back is that I am not the original registered purchaser yet I have an email confirming registration. Anyone any ideas as to what I can do next please.
