Dell flat Panel Monitor s199wfpf goes black after 3 seconds
My Dell monitor is 3 years old and at start will appear fine for 3 seconds then go black screen, the on light stays blue/green, I can turn it off then on and the same thing happens over and over.
I have turned it off and disconnected the cables, then re connected and the same thing happens..
Any ideas please!

Have you tried the self test? Turn off both the PC and the monitor, unplug the video cable, to the PC, then power the monitor on. More info in the manual.

If the self test works, it's possible the PC video itself is the problem. Does it go black if you select either F2 or F8 and just leave it on the boot screen - or if you select Safe Mode from the F8 menu? If so, it could just be a video driver problem.
