Email for Dell
Is there a way of emailing Dell?
My laptop, which is out of wauranty seens to have a dodgy hard drive and does not get far booting.
I want to download the Vista that came with it but cannot as it seens necessary to download to the machine itself - which is not working. I have gone round in many circles but have got no further than here:(
What happened to Dell_Registration_Transfer@dell.com which should have my details - email to that address bounce:(
thanks

As you do not have a Dell Warranty in effect, Dell may not respond to your eMail, you should contact Dell's Expired Warranties @ 1.800.288.4410, Dell usually charges a fee for this service.

Follow my A Clean Install of Windows Vista which will instruct you in downloading Windows Vista from Digital River, creating a ISO and a bootable USB. It will instruct you in installation, including apply Windows Vistas updates offline, installation of system drivers, applying Dell OEM slp activation and making a new recovery partition from your clean install:

Bev,
Thanks for the reply.
The web links above (which I have already tried) just lead me round in circles but Ill try the phone.
One might hope that they do not ignore emails - if they want repeat business - I have a few Dells but not in waranty.
I paid for the Vista so hope that it is not too much to download it again - so I can use it on the same machine with a new HDD.
thanks
Alfred
