(Redirected) Blue Screen
My computer is 2 years old, XPS 8500, Service Pack 1, Windows 7 Professional. This year (2014) I've experienced 10x blue screen already. I do have all information on these crashes.
I consulted Microsoft Community and found a solution in altering registries, which I did - it didn't help. Then I posted a question and they advised me to run a test of my system, which ended finding no problems. After they examined three latest crashes' logs, they said I should update the drivers. I downloaded the drivers from the Dell site and applied them as required. However, 2 drivers would not run, namely Seagate Barracuda B765JC47 and Realtek Audio Driver RM3TP. These are both announcing an Error/Failure each time I attempt to apply them. What can I do? And mainly - will these drivers take care of the blue screen?
Your advice will be appreciated.
