Weird Booting issue

I have a inspiron 530 running windows XP.

When I push the power button the blue light lites up and the fan goes for a few seconds then powers down. It will do this twice. On the third try it will boot up and run normal. It never did this before I was just wondering if something is failing? If anyone can help I would be greatful.
