XPS 410 CPU Upgrade

I recently purchased a CPU to upgrade my XPS 410 along with video & sound cards. The processor is a Intel Core 2 Duo E7400, but in reading this forum, I have found that my MOBO only supports up to a Q6700. Unfortunately, these CPU's are no longer available. Does anyone have any ideas? Or should I just buy a new MOBO?
