iso: potential issues with inspiron 1525

hi i just purchased a dell inspiron 1525 laptop and would like to know of any potential issues which might arise. my reason for doing this is because i also own a dell deminsion e521 and it crashed on me during a bios update. after i had the problem with my e521 i looked on the community site and was suprised to see several cases where e521's had crashed after bios updates. also would like to know y my brand new laptop only plays audio for some files that should have video as well.
