multi tasking
I have a dell 4600, 2.5 gig ram. I recently installed a serial sata drive, 1 terabyte. I can no longer do 2 tasks. I can't print and burn a dvd or print and play an online game. The only thing that has changed is the hard drive. Is there a setting in the BIOS to improve multi tasking performance?

How did you "install" the new drive? Did you do a complete reinstall? or just copy over the entire drive from the old one? If you didn't do a complete new install (and a correct sequence install) that could be the problem.

Hi, I used the Seagate utility program that clones the drives.
