philips cdrw/dvd driver

 I downloaded a driver for my cdrw/dvd. Everytime I try to open and install it, it says it need admin priviliges to install it. I am currently on the admin profile and it still won't install. What am I doing wrong??  All firewalls and blockers are unblocked-still nothing?
