(Redirected) Dell laptop motherboard

I replaced a m511r-m5110 motherboard with new power module and would not power up, it was also shorting out the power supply, I removed the board and disconnected everything from the board, but to no avail. I have changed the power module and motherboard with brand new( refurbished ) and still have the same problem. has any one else ever and this problem? with nothing on the board it still shorts out the power supply. I have replaced the power supply also.( frustrated) Now it has become challenge to me,Help
