dimension 8200 system battery message

my dim 8200 is approx 6 yrs old.  I just received a message when booting up that the system battery is low.  does this mean I have to replace the battery?  what is involved and what do I have to do before replacing?

Yes, you need to replace the small battery on the motherboard.

A 3-V CR2032 lithium coin cell is required, this can be purchased from a Radio Shack, WalMart, or most pharmacies.

THIS

will show the location of the battery on the motherboard.

How to replace the battery.

Prior to replacing the battery, enter the system setup and make a note of the 'Settings' there.

Thanks for the info, Bev, and your quick reply.  I will be picking up the battery and making sure that I have the current settings.
