(Redirected) oculus rift on inspiron 15 7577
hello,
I would like to purchase the inspiron 15 7577 with i7 +gtx1060+16GB for VR purposes with an OCULUS RIFT
i'm getting mixed messages both on Dell's site and on the web.
ANYONE has made a successfull connection between the two and runs VR?

answer = no, due to Nvidia Optimus.
Some mfrs 'allow' the Nvidia-settings to be altered , but Dell isn't one of them.
if you want VR through rift/vive, you have to make sure that the configuration you buy is rift/vive certified, as the HDMI/screen will be connected directly to the GPU instead of Intel HD
