OpenManage 9.1.0 not connecting to ESXi 6.7
Hi,
I have installed the OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.1.0-2757.VIB-ESX65i_A00.zip on a ESXi 6.7 version.
Then I upgraded my OMSA on Windows 10 to 9.1.0 and I'm still able to connect to ESXi 5.5 version using old VIBs (8.4 or 8.5) and I'm no able to connect to the recent ESXi.
Is there something else that we need to do?
I've checked the "Ignore Certificate Warnings" checkbox and it takes a long time and does nothing...

OMSA 9.1.1 is released for PowerEdge R840 and PowerEdge R940xa servers. Please find more details in http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/openmanage-software-v911_release-notes_en-us.pdf.
Kindly, traverse Dell product page for searching compatible OMSA.

Also, do you know when OMSA will be compatible with older servers, such as the Dell R420 and R620?

For Dell PowerEdge R620 and Dell PowerEdge R420, OMSA 9.1.1 is not supported ( OMSA 9.1.0 is supported )

So, it won't support PowerEdge R715 and older servers?
I've downloaded the VIB (OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-9.1.1-2957.VIB-ESX67i_A00.zip), but I won't install it since there is no word on supporting older servers.
PS: Is there a way to use the OpenManage just before I install it without rebooting the server? Is there a service that I can just restart?

Just installed the 9.1.1 VIB on my R710, same thing. Storage devices are showing up as "unknown" and I still cannot connect to it from System Administrator.

Hi,
Kindly traverse through product page i.e., All products / Servers, Storage, & Networking / PowerEdge
As mentioned server is Dell PowerEdge R715, Please find the below link to view compatible OMSA version

When OMSA 9.1.0 is installed, no need to perform reboot of the server.
Please find the below result, when OMSA 9.1.0 is installed.
Installation Result
Message: Operation finished successfully.
Reboot Required: false
VIBs Installed: Dell_bootbank_OpenManage_9.1.0.ESXi650-2757
VIBs Removed:
VIBs Skipped:
" Reboot Required " value is " false ", hence no need of reboot.

Hello,
The problem many of us are experiencing is that after upgrading to ESXi 6.7, many of our devices are showing up as “Unavailable” and they were all working fine in ESXi 6.5. Many if not all of us no longer have the option to downgrade 6.7 to 6.5. Can you please confirm if this is a known issue on non-supported PowerEdge servers on ESXi 6.7?

OM 9.1 is not supported for ESXi 6.7 . OM 9.2 tentative planned for october release will carry
support ESX6.7
