IDK, but may I ask why do you care ?

RAID-1 is not a backup.
It will not protect you from virus, ransom-ware, or fire/theft.

Instead, setup a proper daily/monthly backup routine.

Unless you plan to religiously swap those external backup-drives to fire-safe, safety-deposit box, or some other off-site location ... Cloud-based backup services are popular with businesses now-days.

I work in a factory that produces 24/7. And we have systems that shouldn't stop.

Even if I need a disk replacement, I have to run the program on time.

So I don't need an operating system backup. If the optiplex 3070 supports Raid1, we'll buy it.,

Thanks.

Fair enough ... Let's see if anyone knows.

So, you want Intel's (low-end) RAID-1 huh  ? (mostly software-based and uses CPU for processor/controller). Meaning, you don't want it running from a real RAID-Controller card ?

Hey, I have an idea ... Why not just buy one and examine it.

If you like it keep it and buy more.

If not, send it back (or give to the accountant).
