Dell Optiplex and Vostro Desktop chassis is ATX, mATX or mini-ITX ?

Hi Team,

May i know what type of Optiplex and Vostro DT chassis ?  ATX, mATX or mini-ITX  ?

Then can they work with a 450W PSU ?

None of the Above.

They use EPS12V  80 PERCENT EFFICIENT 24 pin power supples.

Recommended update for TOWER is EVGA SUPER NOVA B1 SERIES.

B2 G2 etc DO NOT WORK.

Combined power on the 3.3v/5v rails is 146W or more and the current is 25 AMPS on each of those rails.

Most NEWER MODELS like Optiplex 3020 7020 9020, Precision T1700 use PROPRIETARY 8 pin power supply.

You cant plug and play a standard MATX motherboard into a BTX Dell case.

used to be considered Dell entry level class for home user but now it is approaching inspiron class with many shared common components.  If price is good can be good option.
