G3220 in Optiplex 9020 SFF?

Hi Everyone,

I hope to purchase a Optiplex 9020 SFF with i7-4770 CPU.

I would like to be able to remove the CPU to use in another PC, and then replace it with a Haswell G3220 (Pentium) processor.

I have seen hints in Dell documentation that it may work, but I cannot find a definitive Supported CPU list anywhere. I have also seen 9020s sold with the G3220 in adverts in Asia.

Can any one throw some light on whether the G3220 would work or not in the Optiplex 9020?
