Optiplex 3011AIO Wireless 1540 bcmwltry crashing after recent Windows updates?

I've got an Optiplex 3011 AIO which I've had for a few years and within the last few months after some Windows 10 updates it started acting strange and randomly disconnecting from the internet.Checking the application log shows lots of instances of Faulting application bcmwltry.exe version 5.100.82.142 exception code 0x00007ffcf4a41738 Faulting application path C:\Program Files\Dell\DW WLAN Card\bcmwltry.exe

This computer is connected to the router by wireless using the internal Dell wireless 1540 adapter which is currently using driver version 7.35.352.0 dated 11/22/2016; I've checked the Dell support area and if anything the version of the driver available there is slightly older than the one that's installed and checking for an updated driver through Windows update simply results in "You are using the most current available driver for your hardware".

So how can I fix this problem and is there anywhere to get a more updated wireless driver?

7.35.267.0 that you are recommending is an older revision than 7.35.352.0  that he write he has now

@Chris1701   Check to see if your router has a newer firmware that can be installed.
