Optiplex 7010, upgrading the graphics card
hi can someone help my I have Dell optiplex 7010 I5 with 240w psu I want to add ASUS GeForce 210 Silent Low Profile V2 1 GB

it said power consumption is 31w will my psu handle it ?
I have 2.5 sshd 500gb no optical drive wireless keyboard and mouse

Hi @kanti83 ,
Better verify it by information from official manufacturer's site.
ASUS stated power consumption up to 75w.
Nvidia stated minimum system power requirement at 300w.
Therefore, it would be a no for your question unless a PSU upgrade at the same time.

Models that size have a 25W limit for the Video.
Thats why Radeon HD5450 from ASUS works fine because they have a 20W TDP.
