Optiplex 790 DT, DVD/RW drive won't read a data CD
It reads Audio CDs OK but only once, after numerous try's, did it read a Data Disc (install disk for a USB NetGear WIFI device). Now it won't read an install disc for a PG Music program I use. Drive shows when I go to COMPUTER but it doesn't see the disc. Both discs work fine in my 537S desktop. Both computers are running Win 7.

Probably defective drive. Either replace the drive or use an external USB drive.
CD/DVD drives are cheap, anymore. Starting under $20 at newegg.com (where I buy most of my PC components).

Change the Region Code on the Drive.
