Win 7 will install but with no drivers, gives bootstarpper not working error when installing office, lock folder installing net framework
also will not take most of updates from MS

You need to extract the CAB file with all the drivers using 7zip into the my documents folder.

WIN7 SP1 is no longer optional.

Microsoft Security Essentials is also required
Windows 7 32-bit
Windows 7 64-bit
Then right click on the device manager for yellow ! and say install drivers from my machine instead of the internet.
It will automatically install drivers for chipset and video and audio and INTEL AMT etc.

Where did you get the install media? Is it a Retail Disk or some kind of OEM Install media from another computer?
Do you have Internet?
Do you have SP1?
Do you have 64bit?
Maybe this will fix your other issue.
