You did not post the make and model of the GPU. But a GPU with DDR5 VRAM has nothing to do with a motherboard that has DDR3 RAM for example. The VRAM on the GPU is used by the GPU not the MB. So you are confusing VRAM (the DDR5) with system RAM which in your case is DDR3 I believe. It will work fine assuming the GPU is compatible with your PSU and Form Factor and BIOS.
