GX520, power LED amber, flashing

Hello

My dell optiplex gx 520 was in my garage for about a year and the power light is flashing amber and wont turn on. I'm NOT buying anything so please help me!

I would start by reseating all cables.  Reseat - with the unit unplugged from AC power, remove a connector then reconnect.  Do this for all power and front panel connectors and see if this helps.  Considering the age of this model (the Dell manual is dated 2001) I wouldn't put any $$ into it either.  Windows XP is the newest OS that Dell supports on this model.

Flashing amber power button is bad power supply.  For less than the cost of windows you can get a new working GX620 Tower which has 2X the ram slots and an X16 video slot.  The tower model can use standard EPS 12v power supply that has at least 150W combined and 25A on the 5v and 3.3v rails as well as at least 15W on the 5v standby rails.
