Brocade 4424 in access gateway mode, port licence question
Hello
I have M1000e chassis with 16 M610 blades and Brocade 4424 configured in Access Gateway mode with NPIV. According to the Brocade hardware manual this product comes with 12 port base license. Dynamic license mode is active. Now I am unable to connect more than 8 M610 blades to my SAN due to port license restrictions. My Dell dealer says that you cannot buy POD (port on demand) license when you use this switch in Access Gateway mode, and I must have configured this switch the wrong way. Has somone here any information regarding using Brocade 4424 in Access Gateway mode in a fully loaded (16 blades) M1000e chassis ?
