IASTOR.sys BSOD Win7 XPS 8500
I need some help if anyone has any suggestions. I'm getting a BSOD "iastor.sys" or "iastora.sys" on my XPS 8500 I have tried eset virus search, rootkit searches, tdsskiller, have a new version of avast and nothing show up on virus scans. Tried updating the drivers and going back to an older version of the drivers and still nothing helps. I can maybe get my computer to run a 1/2 hour at a time before BSOD. Nothing seems to particularly cause it; sometimes crashes while idle.
I have tried to wipe with win7 disk but it says it "cannot detect hard disk" and to install drivers but when i try that the drivers say it doesn't match to any hardware present.
Any help is appreciated.

YES! Same issue started on my 3 year old xps 8500 a couple days ago. iastor BSOD after anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes after boot. Event ID 41, but bugCheckCode is just zero. Temperatures are fine. Help!

Addendum: I've now also run the full pre-boot diagnostics, which were all fine. And I've replaced the power supply just in case. I can't do the online Dell blue screen diagnostics because crash happens before it can make it through it all. Nothing helps. And then it also started telling me that it can't find the AMD video driver. So I tried downloading updated driver - didn't help; rolled back driver - didn't help.
I also tried rolling back system, but it will only go back to when I first tried some fixes. When I try rolling back to the automatic restore points before that, it runs into an error that won't let it go there. Quite frustrating!
