Unable to access OMPC URL from a different computer.
I have been trying to access the URL for my Power Center without success. I have followed the instructions by disabling the IE ESC and added about:blank and have looked at my proxy settings. Though, I am not sure exactly what I should be looking for in the proxy settings for this particular situation.
Any other suggestions on getting to the PC through the web interface?
https:// :8643/powercenter/
I tried using the IP address and DNS name in place of localhost.

If I were doing the troubleshooting I'd start from Power Center and work my way out -
* Are the Power Center services all running?
* Does "netstat -a" on the Power Center server show a service listening for 8643?
* Does your test of https://localhost:8643/powercenter work when run on the Power Center server
* Can you ping the Power Center Server from the remote host?
* Is port 8643 open on the firewalls of both the Power Center server and the remote host?
* Can you access Power Center successfully with a different browser like FireFox?

Hi Roger,
Seems to be a firewall issue. I had checked it before, and it didn't seem to be an issue.
You wouldn't happen to know which modifications are needed in Windows 2008 firewall to all OMPC to work do you??
