2950 3TB with H310

Hello, I am looking to use 3TB drives in a raid 5 in my 2950. Will a H310 accomplish this or will I need to go up to the 700?  Anyother card recomendations are welcome as well. Thank you.

Though neither card has been tested or certified to work in the 2950, the H700 has been known to work in this server.  You will reap the benefits of battery backed cache along with a much better performer than the H310.

The H200 was planned for late support of >2TB drives.  The H310 replaced the H200, and although there is no official documentation (that I can find) about >2TB support, it "should" support them.

Several people have stated that the H700 works in the 29x0 servers (I haven't heard anything about the H310 in 9G servers), but they are not officially supported in that configuration.

Given the choice, hands down, I'd take an H700 over an H310 for performance and reliability reasons.

Thank you guys for your help. I think I will go with a H700. I do have a LSI 9240 that I will try in the mean time though to see the performance on that and if it will handle the drives.
