Adding a Standalone drive on PERC RAID 5
I need extra storage and i do not want to break me RAID 5 configuration... I have added a 1TB Drive to the server but the server is not recognizing the drive... It only sees it under the RAID setup as a foreign drive. It doesn't see the drive in 'DISKPART' even when i tell it to list the drive or recognize new ones.
My question is
Am i able to run RAID 5 with an RAID 0 with windows server 2003?

As the PERC's do not support non-RAID, you MUST configure RAID before Windows can do anything with it, including diskpart. You configure it in CTRL-R or in OMSA as a single-disk RAID 0.
