Adding new disk on raid 5 to increase capacity on poweredge r730

I have Dell Power edge R730 Server with raid 5, in current condition my harddisk space is almost full, I want add 2 new disk on the server. I do not want lose any data and restart/power off the server during add new disk.

Does anyone know if I can add a disk to the array without losing my existing data?  And if so, how do I accomplish this?

Thank you

It depends on the storage controller that you are using. The feature is called RAID Level Migration or Online Capacity Expansion. It is typically accomplished via Reconfigure tasks on the virtual disk. You should be able to locate information about the storage controller capabilities in the manual.

Reconfigure tasks typically require storage management software like OpenManage Server Administrator, but our newer servers have features that allow this to be performed through the iDRAC/LCC. I don't think those features exist in the R730, so you will probably need OMSA to perform a reconfigure. OMSA has a manual specific to storage management and monitoring.
