CMC/IDRACs IP not responding, trying to check the configuration within OS

Hi there,

 

is there a way how query the configured CMC IP within the OS via e.g. racadm/ipmitool-* ?

Affected:

FX2s + FC630

 

I've been browsing the Net but till now NO okring solution how to get the CMC IP...

 

 

any kind of help would be really appreciated.

Pety_B,

 

You should be able to see those details with the racadm get System.ChassisInfo command. 

 

As far as the CMC not responding, have you tried failing over to the other CMC and then back?

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Chris, many thanks for your hint (I already tried it) but it seems that on FX2 it doesn't provide the CMC IP as expected: -- [root@corona19 ~]# racadm get System.ChassisInfo [Key=System.Embedded.1#ChassisInfo.1] #Model=PowerEdge FX2s #Name=CHASSIS12 #ServiceTag=XXXXX --- Kind regards, Peter --

CMC IP will be available in output of "racadm hwinventory" command under section "[InstanceID: System.Embedded.1]"

if you have Linux you can run below command to get CMC IP

racadm hwinventory | grep CMCIP
