DELL T410 w/ PERC H710 SSD Question

I recently rebuit a T410 with dual 6-core XEON 32GB RAM and installed 4 "non-Dell" 1TB SSD.

The system seems to run fine but events are constantly squawking about non certified DELL drives being installed.

I went online and found DELL Certified drives and chatted with a DELL Support tech and ran the drive by him to see if it was compatible in my scenario... He replied yes and I purchased the drives but I dont believe he was correct as they are not showing in the PERC setup as available PD ... shows "0" PD.

Here are the drives ... can anyone verify if they are compatible or not ?

They appear to be SAS but thinking NOT ....

1TB SSD Intel DC P4500  SSDPE2KX010T7T  Enterprise Data Center  NVMe PCIe U.2 SFF-8639 2.5"  DELL 0V51JV  in DELL Bracket  Intel® SSD DC P4500 Series 1.0TB, 2.5in PCIe 3.1 x4, 3D1, TLC

Any help or advice would be great !

Thanks

JPNM1966,

I am not showing that drive as supported in the T410, it appears to be supported on the newer 14th generation servers. Also, the T410 doesn't support NVMe.

Hope this helps clarify things, despite it being the answer you probably preferred not to get.

Thank you Chris - Yes ... that is bad news but I am appreciative of the clarity as the previous Dell support person provided incorrect info that ended up wasting a ton of my time.

Regards

James
