Dell PowerEdge T110ii max hard drive size

Good afternoon,

I wondering the max size of single HDD I can use in my stock T110ii server? I have plans on turning it into a FreeNas NAS and have a couple of 3TB WD Red drives I wanted to use. Will these work?

Thanks

Hello.

What controller are you using? PERC H700 and H200 support hard drive capacity of greater than 2 TB. No maximum however is defined. The thing is to keep the system up to date. Consider using enterprise class drives and not WD Red consumer or NAS drives.
