Drive options for T610
I have a PE T610 with perc 6/i controller, currently has 3 250gb in Raid 5 configuration. I need to add 2 larger mirrored drives. How do I find out whether this server has hot swappable drives and how many drive bays available. The specs on the support site don't indicate.

Hi DPACHECO,
A PE T610 have 8 slots drive bays. Please refer to page 80 to remove the front bezel, that will let you identify your drive orders. You should see 3 hot swap drive in the system. A T610 only have hot swap drives.

If you were to purchase additional drives, do take note you need additional drive carrier.
Also, you will need to check if your PERC 6/I SAS_1 connector is connected to the drive backplane (page 114), if there is no connection, you would need a SAS cable to connect to the backplane, as drive 4 to 7 will not work.
