H700 SAS Cables for an R710
So I have an older R710 that had a PERC 6/i SAS RAID Controller. I am replacing this with an PERC H700.
I am trying to figure out which SAS cables I need to get to connect it to the backplace (W814D).

Hi,
Part number for the SAS cable is R145M for the 2.5 backplane or N170M for the 3.5 backplane.
R145M
POWEREDGE R710 H700 PERC SAS Cable Assembly 2.5" chassis (Controller 0 to Backplane A) or (Controller 1 to Backplane B)
N170M
POWEREDGE R710 H700 PERC SAS 0 Cable Assembly for 3.5" chassis (Controller 0 to Backplane A)

Is this the same for the Perc 6/i or will we need to purchase a new cable?

The cables look to be different. For the Perc 6/i you would need cables C31YC and WC7K9.
