Nyambayar.b,

The issue likely is due to the Raid driver not being installed. Now depending on the controller being used, it is likely going to be one or the other of these drivers.

If it is a H330 or a variant of the H730, the driver is here.

If the controller is a S130, the driver will be here.

So when you boot to the OS media and get to the page where you select the Hard Drive, select Browse and point to that driver file. You should then see the Virtual Disk you created in the controller prior.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi, I have problems installing Windows Server 2012 R2 on a new PowerEdge R340, Service TAG: . The RAID controller drivers are not found, during the installation of the Operating System, I tried to load them from the USB drive but when selecting the H330Adapter model, I get the message: No new devices drivers were found. Make sure the installations media contains the correct drivers and the click OK.

Please what other configuration should I check? Thank you.

Thank you, perform the indicated procedure, however, when I select the driver from the USB the following message still appears: "No new devices drivers were foud. Make surethe installations media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.

Any other drive I can try to use?.

Tks a lot.

The problem is that there is no driver.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/tr-tr/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=t244w
I downloaded this driver, the file is exe and there is no ejector.

I downloaded many different drivers but none of them worked.
Then I found this forum link, you suggested a link but it doesn't work either.
Windows cannot find a suitable disk for installation during installation.
I can't find drivers for raid .
What I found is that exe and extract are not working.

I need a non-exe raid drive to install Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016 on my dell R330 device.
my raid card  H730
I don't want to install exi. 4 x 10 TB HP brand SAS disks are installed.  there is a lot of space, I want to install server 2016 or 2019 directly instead of virtualization.

Please help me find a driver.

kenank002,

If you are having issues I would recommend that you download and install the OS Driver Pack found here, which you will run for the Lifecycle Controller. After installing, then boot to the Lifecycle Controller and choose OS Deploy, from there it should have access to the updated driver and proceed.

Let me know if this helps.

Hello,

Like Chris mentioned you update the OS Driver pack it will provide the driver when you do the OS Deployment.

OS Driver Pack

Download: Drivers-for-OS-Deployment_Application_WP3PH_WN64_18.12.04_A00_01.EXE

https://dell.to/3w7wYri

You can update the Driver Pack using Lifecycle Controller.

1. Copy the file to a USB device

2. Plug in the USB device and enter in to Platform Update (F10 LifeCycle Controller LCC)

3. Select the USB device and navigate through the directory contents to find the executable

4. Launch the executable and follow the instructions provided.

Driver pack release notes

https://dell.to/49RRE4g

See R330 page 21

Windows Server 2016 64-bit

PERC H330/H730/H730P/H830/ H730P MX/FD33xD/FD33xS Controllers

Version 6.604.06.00

Download OS driver pack, supply in the LCC platform update then use OS Deploy to install OS.
