Migrate from RAID 5 PERC4 Dell PE800 to Dell T320 on Perc H310
Hi,
I had a server that failed before we had the time to replace it.
The old server won't boot (no display maybe de motherboard failure). Can i insert disk on the new server and try to import raid disk config ?
I know it will work from the same PERC chip, but from PERC4 to PERC 310, i think it will not work?

No, you cannot import a PERC 4 config to a PERC 5+. PERC 4- is SCSI, PERC 5+ is SAS.

Yeah i was so focus on data loss, that i don't notice that.
