No HBA/Passthrough mode on PERC H740P?
Is it possible to enable HBA/Passthrough mode on PERC H740P? I've looked everywhere and cannot find an option to do so.

Scott-Silo,
As seen here the H740P doesn't support a passthrough mode. The embedded S140 does show it supported on page 8 here, if that is an option for you.
Let me know if this helps.

Chris,
Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. It sounds like I can remove the RAID card and it should default to the S140?

Disable the S140 and use drives in AHCI mode.

HI!
i know this is an old topic, but firmware 50.5.1.2818 of the H740p controller, enables the eHBA mode (enhanced HBA). With this mode you can have the disks in HBA mode, and still build and RAID1 for the OS with two of them.
