PE R710 - IDRAC - no storage info
Hello everyone,
I would need some help on below:
The R710 has ESXI, IDRAC 6 express
Issue is that no storage info is available through IDRAC interface, need to monitor same due to failed disk
Please advise,

Hi,
You can install Openmanage Server administrator on the server for monitoring storage. http://www.dell.com/support/contents/us/en/19/article/Product-Support/Self-support-Knowledgebase/enterprise-resource-center/Enterprise-Tools/OMSA

ok, but is it normal that storage info is not available through IDRAC interface?

This typically happens when the iDRAC initializes before the PERC. You can try doing a racadm racreset and see if it starts pulling the information, however you would probably have to do this every reboot.
