Hi everyone.
I took the controller Perc 5/e from the old server and connected it to the new Dell R620. And Dell PowerVault MD1000 is connected to the server too.
But I have an error:
Without a connected MD1000 server start without any errors.
In what could be the problem?

The PERC5E and the MD1000 both were discontinued before the R620 was ever released, so it won't be a supported/validated combination of hardware.
However, you could check this thread and see if the steps that that person did help your issue.

That person added an OCZ PCIe SSD, but got a similar error message on post and was able to fix it.
If that doesn't help, you could try upgrading to a PERC6E, and maybe even a PERC H800 (but this will require a different cable).
