PERC H710 mini configure write-back
Hi,
IHAC who is using R720 with H710 mini, during the configuration for the write-back, they encounter the following message:
Suppose H710 mini come with NV cache and battery, and their battery is in good condition:
Then can they ignore the warning message? and if the battery is in good shape, how come the warning message still shown?

Hi there,
When you are setting up the RAID array in the H710 RAID controller, is the "FORCE WB with no battery " option enabled? The reason I ask is because if this is enabled, that exact message will be shown to warn you of the drawback of using Write Back with no battery.
If you can let us know, it would be a great help.
