Perc 6/i UEFI
Hello All!
I have an older T410 that I am trying to utilize again. I've installed some 2tb drives (max size for Perc6) and when booting into UEFI mode, the Perc controller isn't seen to boot from. I've created an array in the Perc BIOS, but it simply doesn't see it.
If I go back to BIOS mode, it can see it, but not from UEFI. Any ideas where I've gone wrong?
Thanks!

Is the PERC the original controller with the system? BIOS and firmware up to date?

I should have added this information.
It is the original controller with the system.
The BIOS and perc firmware are the newest off of DELL's site. When I had the problem, I figured that might be the issue, so I installed the newest versions, but still having same issue.

To be more complete, Here is what I see:
Perc 6/i
Package - 6.3.3.0002
FW - 1.22.52-1909
Bios - 2.04.00
CtrlR version - 1.02-015B
Boot Block - 1.00.00.01-0011
Bios Version at boot shows 1.12
Thanks

I swear, I'm not an idiot, but I'm also not the smartest... I'm not sure what you mean by Hard Drive C sequence.
I'm going to try to attach a picture of what I see in the UEFI Boot manager.

You need to also make sure the iDRAC/LCC is up to date.
Is it maybe listed in the Hard Drive C: sequence?

I am experiencing this same issue. If you did end up fixing it, how did you do it? I get the same screen when I open UEFI options.

What I've seen success with is taking this 2 pronged approach:
1) Making sure the server firmware is all up to date, and
2) Creating the virtual disk while in the boot mode you want to use. IE creating the virtual disk in UEFI mode, if UEFI boot is what you want to use.
