Physical disks not detected

Dear all ,

I need Help 

we have PowerEdge T310 with a two SAS hard drives.we have created RAID 1 but no physical disks appear in the PERC virtual disk management

although it appear on windows and the RAID works well..but the problem is the rescanning

so you should be seeing the screen below, then you just hit Enter, which will bring up another screen, hit the down arrow once and highlight RAID properties, then hit Enter on that. Then you can create a Raid 0 or Raid 1 or View the Existing Array.

I would update the firmware on this device; it is showing to be out of date.   Please download from this page: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/Product/poweredge-t310

Select your operating system, then go down to SAS RAID. Select the S300-S100 download, 2.0.0.0162

Update and then check the status again

i updated the firmware but still have same problem

Watch your boot sequence, and look for the SaS device to be listed, then press Cntrl-C when prompted. This should show up before the Cntrl-R option. What I think you have is a SaS 6iR in your system, and othe only thing attached to your Perc S100 is the dvd drive. let us know.

yes i have sas 6/IR and dvd drive is the only thing attached to perc s100

but SAS 6 config utility has only two options adapter list and global properties
